There are so many different approaches to men’s fitness. It’s easy to get confused as to what’s right and what’s wrong. There are some basic guidelines and principles that can be followed to achieve ultimate success in men’s fitness. Generally speaking, there’s a proven science to certain things that has been proven with time. We now know more than ever what really causes weight loss and weight gain. We’ve also discovered the best tactics for successful weight loss.

First of all, there are no magic gimmicks, pills or potions that will make a man lose weight easily. Easy and weightloss just don’t go well together. There is no free ride. Losing weight doesn’t have to be hard, in fact it’s a lot easier than most people presume! Simple basic discipline plays a huge role in successful weightloss. A simple method involves eating smaller, more frequent meals. How often? Every 3-4 hours. So that basically means that each day you eat between 4-6 small meals.

The small-meal approach works because it fuels your metabolism and keeps it stoked throughout the day. This plays an integral role to successful and long term weightloss since an enhance metabolism goes hand in hand with weightloss. Starving simply does not work as it almost always leads to excessive food intake. Starvation is really not necessary.

At the end of the day, perhaps the most important weightloss or weight gain factor is calories. So essentially, if you could effectively count calories and limit daily caloric intake then you have a good chance of achieving your weightloss goals. If you can cut out between 200-300 calories out of your daily diet then this is another great way to assure weightloss.

Healthy eating is also essential to successful weightloss. The best diet is one that all natural. A high protein diet including low-fat, lean meat, chicken and turkey with vegetables is an ideal healthy alternative to greasy, carbohydrate laden foods. Be sure to eat plenty of vegetables daily. Fruits are great, healthy options also. Now that we’ve covered some dieting basics, let’s take a closer look at men’s fitness tactics.

Muscle Building

As a rule of thumb, weight lifting should be done every other day. This allows for one day of rest where muscles can fully recuperate. Your muscles need some time to relax and one day is just the right amount of time. Finding a muscle building routine that works for you will take some time and research. Just find something that’s comfortable for you personally, while still being effective.

Cardio

Interval Training cardio is just what you need to kick-start your metabolism into gear. So how is it done? You first start with a 5 minute warm up. Then you kick it up a notch to as much as you safely can for 1 to 2 minutes. Then back down to your normal pace again for 1-2 minutes. Rinse and repeat. That’s it! Do this on your favorite machine for at least 20 minutes (or whilst running) and you should see a significant increase in your weight loss efforts. Interval Training works and can help cut cardio working time by half!

Many men overlook the importance of water in their everyday lives. Such a simple element of life can play a really huge role in how healthy you are. Aside from being healthy, adequate amounts of water has many other benefits. First and foremost, generous amounts of water is needed daily to feed the skin cells all throughout your body. With global warming on the rise many men (and women) are subjected to dehydration. Dehydration can cause the skin to look older and less healthy. Dehydration has also been linked to many other common bodily ailments such as constipation, headache, fatigue, back problems, body aches and a wide variety of other ailments that wreak havoc on the body.

The simple fact that your lips are dried alone should signal a need for more water intake. It has been estimated that more than 90% of men are dehydrated to some degree. If you’re a guy that drinks regularly then you might want to increase your water intake heavily. Alcohol consumption has a really negative effect on proper hydration on the body. In men’s health & fitness, water plays a crucial role in helping you achieve your goals.

Another important role water has with the body is the proper digestion of foods. Without adequate water consumption you would experience frequent periods of constipation. If you cannot properly digest food then you can be sure that some of it will be stored as excess fat. Water helps eliminate waste and toxins throughout the body for quick and efficient disposal. Men that drink generous amounts of water are seldom sick.

It would make sense that your body needs plenty of water since the majority(over 80%) of your body’s make-up is indeed water itself. So what constitutes proper daily intake of water? Diet and nutrition experts will often tell you the same thing: 8 glasses of water a day. What they fail to tell you is when you should consume this 8 glasses of water. You can still be dehydrated if you consumed 3 really large helpings of water. And furthermore, these days 8 glasses of water just doesn’t cut it anymore.

The earth’s surface has become hotter in the past two decades. This means a rise in dehydration. A new standard for adequate water intake involves drinking one 8-10 ounce glass of water for every hour that you are awake. This is because your body operates 24 hours a day. You cannot simply drink a large glass of water and then not drink water again for another couple of hours. This is a sure-fire way to become dehydrated. If you are a smoker then you are encouraged to drink even more water than the non-smoker.

Drinking generous amounts of water has tons of benefits to your health. You should definitely not overlook the power of this simple life’s element. Lines, wrinkles, crowsfeet, skin discoloration and so much more can be avoided by drinking adequate amounts of water! Not only will you look better and younger but you’ll also feel better!

When it comes to cardio, what is the ultimate fat burning exercise? In this article we’ll take a look at a new, “secret” method for shortening your cardio workouts in half while still being as effective as a normal-paced cardio workout. So what’s the secret? Two words- Interval Training!

Interval training has gained quite some fame and recognition in the past 5 years. Think of interval training as a way to safely and effectively “tweak” your metabolism. Regular, normal-paced cardio activity does not work half as effective as high intensity interval training can. Most people believe the popular misconception that cardio activity has to be performed for more than 30 minutes to be effective. Not with interval training!

In fact, with interval training you can actually cut your time in half! So what is the ideal number of minutes to do your interval training workout for it to be truly effective? 20 minutes! If you can successfully manage 20 minutes a day to perform interval training, there is no way you will gain weight and be fat! This is of course, providing you follow a healthy diet.

What is 20 minutes of your day really? That’s less 3% of your entire day! If you truly cannot afford to take this amount of time to perform exercise daily then you really do not deserve a healthy body. 20 minutes a day of interval training is more effective than 40 minutes of regular, standard activity! So how do you begin performing interval training cardio? You start by doing 5 minutes warm-up. Then you kick it up a notch by as much as you possibly can for 1 to 2 minutes. After this you kick it down a notch to regular pacing again, for 1-2 minutes. Then go up again for 1-3 minutes. Rinse and repeat for the remainder of the workout. That’s it! Quite simple don’t you think?

Interval training is the ultimate fat burning exercise for anyone with limited time. Not to mention, who doesn’t like reducing their time in the gym or during a workout while still maintaining effectiveness? In order to lose weight you really do not have to work out harder. This is a huge misconception amongst people wishing to lose weight. In fact, studies prove that interval cardio training works better over regular, standard normal-paced cardio workouts! In today’s day and age we can all use time-savers. By limiting your cardio activity to 20 minutes you will be making more time for other workout activities such as weight lifting!

One extra tip: Try to do the “intervals” as hard as you safely can. This will help you lose extra calories, even when you are done with the entire workout! These intervals help spike up your metabolism all throughout the day after your workout. It “tweaks” your actual body into burning more fat, more efficiently.

Once you begin to see how well interval training works for you there is no way you’ll go back to your old, boring cardio workouts!

In this article we’ll take a look at the quickest way to lose up to 14 pounds in 2 weeks. It really is possible if you put your mind to it. This diet does not include starvation or anything like that. The diet that I am talking about is the highly publicized “South Beach” diet. Essentially, the South Beach diet is a tweaked version of the Atkins diet.

The South Beach diet has become so popular over the last couple of years because it works! This diet has literally re-awaken the mechanics of the Atkins diet and made it newer and more feasible for everyday individuals. There are certain foods that were not allowed with the Atkins diet that are now allowed with the South Beach diet. In a moment we’ll take a look at the foods that are allowed with this diet but before we do that let’s take a further look at how the diet works.

The South Beach diet works by eliminating complex carbohydrates from your diet. When you remove complex carbs completely, your body goes into what is known as ketosis. What exactly is ketosis? Ketosis is the process by which your body goes into hibernation and uses fats in place of carbohydrates. There is no sugar for your body to convert into energy so it uses the fat and fatty acids as energy. Essentially, this is the same process as starvation. When you starve yourself, your body goes into ketosis also. A low carb diet gets your body into a quick state of ketosis and helps you lose weight really quickly. After just a couple of days you will literally begin to feel the effects of ketosis.

Phase 1 of the South Beach diet lasts approximately two weeks however, you can step it up a notch and take it to three weeks if you want to lose additional weight. What’s nice about this diet is you do not starve yourself at all! You can eat generous amounts of lean meats, turkey, beef, chicken or any lean animal meat. Animal meat alone contains virtually no carbohydrates.

If quick weightloss is what you are hoping to achieve then you should definitely check out the South Beach diet. Some guys even go on this diet for the first phase alone and then segway into regular healthy eating habits after the initial quick weightloss is achieved.

So what foods are allowed on this diet?

As mentioned above, any kind of lean meat, chicken , turkey or beef. Also low-fat cheeses, eggs, romaine lettuce, sugar substitutes and any other no carb or low-carb food.

The lower abs can be the hardest part of the ab region to properly train and sculpt. This is by far the last place you’ll start to see results when training your abs. Many men get frustrated trying to work this area out and get discouraged when they don’t see results quick enough. The key to any success in fitness training is consistency! Don’t ever give up or you’ll surely never see any true, measurable results.

The fact of the matter is, many men simply do not know how to effectively train this area of their abs. In this article we’ll take a thorough look at how you can begin effective training on your lower abs. You’ll start to see results in no time if you follow this plan! The first and easiest method for training the lower abs is simple leg raises. You lay on your back with your arms to your side and simply raise your legs to a 90 degree angle, really feeling the burn in your lower ab region. Performing 50 reps daily is a great way to start seeing results. Alternately you can also perform the same movement while lifting up your butt and pelvic region slightly. Another way to do this would be to bring your knees in towards your chest while performing the raised pelvic movement simultaneously. This is a really hardcore method for working out the lower abs.

50 simple leg raises daily alone is enough for you to start seeing results in this area but the more intense workouts are even more beneficial as they’ll really help you sculpt this area of the abdominals. Ideally, you can also try using a medicine ball between your legs while you perform the leg raises. This will help give you some resistance training.

If you really want an intense lower ab workout you should definitely try hanging leg raises. This is where you hang on to a monkey bar with your arms. You then proceed to bring your knees up to your chest. If you can focus and hold it in that position for a moment then you’d really be kicking your lower ab workouts into overdrive! Another great way to build your lower abs is to perform “boxing” movements. This is where you simply stand straight and punch straight out, from one side of your body to the next. Not only does this work the oblique’s but it will also help your lower abs by literally shrinking your waistline! Yes, shrinking!

Is there really a way to safely tweak your metabolism to lose weight? In this article we’ll investigate how you can successfully and safely tweak your metabolism to help you lose weight. There are various techniques you can use to optimize your metabolic functioning and we’ll take a further look at the most popular and effective methods.

First of all, are you fully optimizing your metabolism to it’s fullest potential? Over 95% of men do not fully utilize the true potential of their metabolism! If you can safely tweak your metabolism you’d actually never gain weight! The first method of optimizing your metabolism involves modifying the way in which you eat food. If you eat the standard three large meals a day then you are totally sabotaging your metabolism. A more healthier, “smarter” alternative would be to eat 4-6 smaller, more frequent meals a day.

Your body cannot properly metabolize food when you eat a large meal. The excess food is often stored as fat. You often feel fatigued after consuming a large meal. This is simply because your metabolism is working in overdrive to metabolize the large meal you just ate. If you eat a real heavy, fat-laden meal then this is even worse as you’ll almost certainly store a generous amount as excess fat in your body.

When you eat smaller, more frequent meals your body has the potential to fully metabolize the meal without storing anything as fat. Not only will you not gain weight, you’ll also have more energy. This is because your body is properly using the fuel you feed it. A small, fist sized meal every 2-3 hours is a sure-fire way to fuel your metabolism. You can have a fist sized portion as pure protein and another fist sized portion from strictly vegetables. Vegetables will help aid in digestion and ultimate elimination. Vegetables won’t conges your system as high-starch foods will. Always ensure that you have a portion of vegetables with eat lean protein portion you consume.

Think of your metabolism as a wood burning oven or fireplace. You need to constantly add wood(food) to the fire to keep it burning efficiently. If you added a huge pile of wood the fire would not burn properly. In fact, it will out itself eventually from too much excess and congestion. Steady, reasonable amounts of wood is needed to keep the fire(metabolism) fully optimized.

Extra tip: Do NOT skip breakfast! Your body needs fuel soon after you get up. Think about it; your body has been going on 8 (typical) hours without food or water. When you get up, feed it! Dehydration is often blamed for low metabolism also so be sure to drink an 8-10 ounce glass for every hour that you are awake.

Another way to tweak your metabolism involves muscle building. Ideally weight training should be performed every other day. Your muscles need a day to rest and grow. Since muscle weighs more than fat it would make sense that you help your body build lean muscle mass/tissue.

Follow these simple tips and watch your metabolism skyrocket!

Belly fat is often a very stubborn part of body to lose weight on, especially surface belly fat. Even the thinnest layer of belly fat can be hard to lose fully. There are some methods and training tactics you can take to start losing fat on this area effectively and in this article we’ll unravel some of these tactics you can start using today!

The first method of losing stubborn belly fat involves tweaking your diet. If you generally eat three large meals a day this is a really negative approach to successful weightloss. Eating any large meal alone will damage your metabolism. Your body simply cannot process large meals efficiently.

A simple approach to this problem is to eat smaller, more frequent meals daily. How frequent? A small, fist sized meal every 3-4 hours is ideal for keeping your metabolism stoked throughout the day. You will want to keep your metabolism active all throughout the day as this is the body’s natural fat burning mechanism. Eating smaller, more frequent meals will help ensure that your metabolism is always active and working with you instead of against you. The next step is to modify the ingredients in your diet. A diet rich in lean protein and vegetables is ideal. Vegetables are great to mix in with chicken, beef, turkey, etc. A great alternative to cooking with oil is to use a cooking spray such as Pam. You can also substitute one meal daily for a protein shake.

A lot of fitness professionals advise against calorie counting but if you truly want a fool proof way to measure your weightloss then perhaps calorie counting is not such a bad idea. For regular fitness training for weightloss I’d highly recommend interval cardio workouts. Instead of doing standard boring cardio workouts that are flat in intensity you can increase the intensity intervals to kick it up a notch and burn calories more effectively. You start out by doing 5 minutes of warming up then accelerating as hard as you safely can for 1-2 minutes. Then you simply go back down to the normal pace for 1-2 minutes. Rinse and repeat until the entire workout is done. 20 minutes daily is good enough to get a really great workout. You really do not need an entire hour long cardio session to get a great, calorie burning workout.

Performing interval cardio training 3-5 times a week for 20 minutes alone will be good enough to kick start your metabolism into overdrive. You will also want to build lean muscle mass since muscle weighs more than fat. Muscle training every other day is a really simple method for achieving a great, lean body.

With the methods outlined above you will lose stubborn belly fat in no time and the surface belly fat will start disappearing literally! You will want to add various sit-ups to the mix to achieve a defined six pack. 50 standard crunches, 50 leg raises and 50 oblique’s on each side will do the trick.

In this article we’ll take an in-depth look at how to get great abs. Getting great abs does not really have to be as hard as one may think. With some strategic focus and dedication you truly can sculpt the abs you’ve always dreamed of.

Before we get into specific exercises let’s take a look at what’s needed first and foremost before you start performing ab exercises:

1.Reducing body fat percentage
2.Reduction of surface belly fat
3.A solid, complete program for optimally tweaking the metabolism to burn fat more efficiently

The first goal can be achieved by regular strategic cardio workouts. You will want to make regular, routine cardio a way of life. Without some form of cardio you simply cannot reduce body fat to get great looking abs. You can do this by performing interval cardio training. I highly recommend interval cardio training because it works! Not just that , it also helps you save time thanks to the focused “intervals”. Interval cardio training will also help you reduce surface belly fat.

This form of fitness can also be a huge part of the solid program you need to help optimize your metabolism. Interval training helps by fueling and stoking your metabolism. When you perform cardio with high and low intervals you are forcing your body to use calories more efficiently. When you eat the food will be digested much more quickly thanks to the tweak in your metabolism. Another great way to safely tweak your metabolism is by weight lifting. You simply cannot afford to not incorporate weight lifting into you workout routine.

Since muscle weighs more than fat, it will be in your best interest to develop lean muscle mass all over your body. When your body is lean in muscle mass you also burn calories more efficiently. This is great news if you want to get great looking abs. Ideally, weight lifting every other day is perfect for building lean muscle mass. Your muscles need one day in between to grow and repair.

It’s also important to eat smaller, more frequent meals. Every 3-4 hours is ideal. This will help keep your metabolism stoked throughout the day. Try to go for lean protein from meats, egg whites, chicken, turkey, etc.

Now let’s get to the ab workouts! The easiest exercise by far is simple basic crunches. Try to get at least 50 of those in a single day. Next you will want to work the lower abs. Leg lifts(while you are laying back) are ideal for this. Try to perform 50 reps also. Additionally you can also put a medicine ball between your legs while lifting. This will help add resistance.

Next you will want to work the oblique’s. Perform 50 simple basic oblique crunches on each side for a total of 200 sit ups daily. Try to do this 4-6 times a week max. With the program outlined here you will sculpt amazing abs in no time. The secret to success is consistency.

If you’ve ever been on a fitness program you’ve probably surely asked yourself how long it takes to get six pack abs. You might have even pondered this question visually daily in front of your mirror. I think all men at some point has done this. There is a reason why pretty much every gym in the world has mirrors all over! It’s because we are obsessed with out looks, especially in today’s society and culture. If you really want to come out ahead of the competition(or at least be close), you must pay close attention to your diet and exercise habits. How long it takes to get a six pack will depend largely on your individual diet & fitness efforts. Certain factors come into play when determining an actual timeframe for which you will attain your six pack abs dream. Factors such as your current weight, your current body fat percentage, your current level of fitness, your eating habits, etc.

It is very important that you stay motivated with whatever diet and exercise program you are on. Essentially, you will also want to chose a diet and exercise program that actually works. I see many men performing horrible routines that give a “yo-yo” dieting effect. This is where they begin a program, see some results, then slowly sip back into their old negative patterns and then gained all the weight back all over again.

You would think it’s only women that slip into this void but it’s men also! It really sucks for the guy that goes through all the trouble of some temporary, focused diet and exercise effort and then to gain the weight back again after seeing some results! This is why it’s so important to stick to your workout plan. Instead of thinking of it as a chore, think of it as a lifestyle. If you think of any form of working out as chore you will attach a negative picture to it. This will make it much harder for you to follow through in the long term.

Instead of attaching a negative picture to diet and exercise try attaching a new mental picture to it. A positive, re-enforced image such as picturing yourself with rock hard, six pack abs. Try to imagine how you’ll feel when you finally achieve six pack abs.

Believe me, the feeling is pretty incredible! Getting on the path to achieving and maintaining six pack abs is a lot easier than you’d ever imagine. If you really care about how you look then you must invest proper time and effort into achieving your outcome. So, how long does it take to get a six pack? Well, you should know! The answers lies right in your hands(and mouth). Perform daily actions that will help you reach your goal and try not to overindulge in excessive calories and fats.

You really can get six pack abs and have your cake and eat it too! Simple, “smart” moderation and incorporation of healthy eating and fitness habits will be your best ally in aching hardcore six pack abs!

Love handles. No guy really wants them yet so many men have them! In this article we’ll examine how to successfully get rid of love handles. It boggles my mind how far some men let themselves go. If you find yourself in this position then you might want to do something about it very quickly before it gets out of hand. The last thing you want to do is wake up to reality the day you are 100 pounds overweight. This can be quite a nightmare….One that can be simply avoided by living healthy lifestyle habits.

To begin, you should understand that no ab training alone will help you get rid of your love handles. Forget about gimmicky machines or ab trainers. It makes no sense to do these exercises until you lose surface belly fat. You must properly change your diet and exercise habits if you truly want to get rid of love handles and start seeing six pack abs.

Start by eating smaller, more frequent meals. You can also substitute protein shakes instead of full meals. A small meal every 3-4 hours will be ideal in helping to keep your metabolism stoked. Avoid eating large meals as this will surely ruin your body’s fat burning mechanisms. This will also completely kill your metabolism. Try eating one pound of protein for every pound of bodyweight. Lean chicken, beef, turkey, etc will be your best choices for healthy protein. Protein will help you build lean muscle also. Since lean muscle weighs more than fat it would make sense that you try to build as much lean muscle as you possibly can.

Weight lifting every other day is a great way to do so. Your body needs one day of rest in between to help the muscles repair and grow. Do not waste your time performing sit-ups unless you start noticing a flat stomach. Doing sit-ups while you have lots of surface fat is simply a waste of time. Sit-ups hardly burn any calories so do not even bother performing these exercises if you still have considerable surface fat on your stomach.

You will also want to stay properly hydrated throughout the day. One 8-10 ounce glass of water for every hour that you are awake will help ensure that your body is properly hydrated. Drinking plenty of water will also help you eliminate food more efficiently. Dehydration is often a cause for weight gain. In this case you will also want to avoid sugary drinks and foods. Avoid soda’s, excessive alcohol or any candy that might include sugar.

Perform cardio training 4-6 times a week if you really want to kick start your six pack abs. 20 minutes of fast-paced action is ideal as this will help you tone up really quickly. After you’ve lost some initial weight you can start focusing on sit-ups. Be sure to work all major ab areas including your upper abs, lower abs and oblique’s. And here you have it! The perfect plan for getting rid of love handles!

In this article we’ll take a look at the insanely popular online diet program fatloss4idiots. Over the last 4 year this diet has quickly become the hottest selling online diet program on the net! If you are looking to lose weight then this might be a great place to start. Weightloss does not have to be a hard-to-reach goal. With proper guidelines, motivation and meal plans you can achieve your weightloss desires.

The accessibility of online meal and exercise planning is what makes this diet so appealing to most. Perhaps the best part of fatloss4idiots is that you do not have to worry at all about meal planning. All your daily meals are quickly indexed for you in easy to read format. All you have to do is buy the ingredients and follow the meals at their given daily intervals and there you have it! Your breakfast, lunch and dinner will all be planned ahead of time. Another great aspect of this diet is that you will lose weight rapidly without having to perform tons of workouts. The induction phase of this diet features a low carb meal plan that can help you see really quick weightloss without much effort! Although I would recommend that you do some form of fitness to see additional weightloss. You can always lose weight with diet alone but exercise makes the process so much more quicker and efficient.

Fatloss4idiots is incredibly easy to follow. By following the strategic meal plans you will not get hungry! You will not experience any cravings whatsoever as this diet is not aimed at starving anyone. The diet plan includes a well balanced, healthy, tasty and incredibly nutritious meal plan. The meal plans are strategically made so that you do not experience any food cravings.

With this program you will actually eat more food than usual. How? Because the diet focuses on proper fueling of your metabolism. To achieve this you will be eating more often. I must mention though that these meals will be in smaller quantities. You will actually be eating between 4-6 times a day. With this method you will help fuel your metabolism. Your metabolism is the very source of energy and calorie expenditure. Without an optimized metabolism you can never successfully lose weight.

With fatloss4idiots you will not ever need to count calories. This diet is more about eating well than counting calories. By eating more often your metabolism will go into overdrive. This means more energy throughout the day. The simple fact remains that most people do not know how to properly fuel their metabolism. This is why men are getting more overweight.

Through proper weight lifting you can literally develop any major muscle area on your body with the exception of your private part of course. Through weight lifting and cardio exercises you can literally mold and shape your body and lose weight where you need to lose it. What many men don’t know is that they can also alter their facial appearance- with face exercises! This little known “secret” has been used in Hollywood circles, by sports athletes, models and men in the entertainment business. The fact that the camera adds 10 pounds to your frame alone is a reason to perform facial exercises! Many men have an underdeveloped chin, jaw line and cheekbone area. As you age you start developing bags and fatigue under your eyes. Face exercises can actually help this condition also!

There are over 56 muscles in the face. It would be completely naïve to think that you couldn’t somehow manipulate, develop and tone these muscles just as you would with the muscles on your body. Facial exercises can provide a safe alternative to dangerous cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures such as blepharoplasty( eye bag surgery), restylane injections, cheekbone implants, jaw line implants and chin implants. These surgeries are often very expensive and do not guarantee results in the long term. They are also considered risky when performed by unskilled surgeons. The last thing you want to do is put your face in such risky danger.

With facial exercises you can greatly enhance your jaw line area. This is the first area you will notice positive change in after doing a set of facial exercises. You can also help recede and eliminate double chin in the neck area. You can even firm your entire neck and look more in shape! There are some simple exercises you can do to reduce under eye bags and puffiness. The face and neck exercises also help benefit your chin area and can help isolate some of the fat that is surrounded here to form a more sculpted appearance.

With proper diet, exercise and a combination of facial exercises you no longer need a neck lift as your only viable alternative solution. Some alternate exercises, called face yoga exercises can also bring balance and form to your facial areas. As you age the skin on the face becomes loose and you start to see “jowls”. This is highly unattractive! No man wants to age like this. Many plastic surgeons actually recommend some light face exercises to be performed by their patients before and after they have had some minor procedure such as injectable fillers.

Results can actually be seen within a week of performing daily, 15 minute sessions. The areas that you will notice the quickest improvement include the jaw line, chin and neck area. If you’ve always wanted to build and define a stunning jaw line then you should definitely look into facial exercises for more definition in this area. Not only will it make you look better, you will also achieve a more masculine look!

In this article we’ll take a look at a complete program that will help you build perfect six pack abs! Strangely enough there are many men (and women) who have no idea how to effectively work their entire ab region. If you can strategically and routinely workout the 4 major ab areas, you will be one step closer to six pack abs success! The abs consist of four core areas; the upper abs, the lower abs and the left and right oblique’s. There are a variety of workouts you can perform daily to effectively workout the abs.

The good news is that you don’t even need any special equipment to successfully perform six pack ab exercises! Forget about all those special gadgets you see advertised on late-night television- their just gimmicks! Gimmicks aimed at ripping off consumers into shelling over hard-earned cash for completely useless equipment! So the lesson learned here is to NOT buy into these type of products as they are a complete waste of time!

So how much sit ups a day is enough? 200 sit-ups 4-6 times a week is the daily recommended dosage. You can divide that into 50 regular crunches( with knees bent at 90 degrees), 50 leg raises and 50 oblique crunches(on each side). Perhaps the hardest area to efficiently workout are the lower abs. There are various exercises that target the lower ab region. Typical leg raises are the standard but if you really want to sculpt and tone this area, you can add some weight resistance to your legs while performing leg raises. You can do this with a 5 pound medicine ball between your legs during leg raises. This will help kick the resistance up a notch or two.

So how do you shrink your waistline? Perform the following exercise and you will start to see your waistline shrink in as little as one week! Hang onto bars with all your bodyweight. Then proceed to lifting your knees up to your chest. You can also turn from side to side simply while hanging on the bars, focusing all your energy from side to side. Not only will this work and tone your oblique’s but you’ll also literally shrink your waistline! If you do not have the convenience of bars to hang from you can also do this standing up.

Stand up straight and proceed to do “boxing” movements from one side of your body to the next. Focus on really turning your body as far left or right as you possibly can. This does the same effect for your oblique’s as well as helps shrink the waistline.

Alternately, for total ab training and for perfect six pack abs you can perform “bicycle” movements whilst laying on your back. You simply perform these simulated “bicycle” movements with your legs in the air for as long as you safely can. This is THE most effective ab exercise ever! It works all four major core areas in one simple, free exercise!

When trying to lose weight there are some basic principles you must keep in mind in order to reach your desired outcome. Luckily today the science of weightloss has evolved to a point where we now know what works and what doesn’t. This is great news for you since you now know what effective methods to invest your precious time in. The first step to weightloss is to acknowledge that weightloss is not a destination you reach, it’s a lifestyle. Many guys have the wrong perception about weightloss and what it takes to effectively maintain a slim waistline or rock hard abs.

First of all this “lifestyle” is not at all hard to reach or maintain. The in-shape guys you see all over the place are in that position because they understand that getting and staying fit will take some continued effort on their part. The life of a fit man does not have to be hard, in fact, it can be a lot of fun, especially when you start seeing results! So let’s take a look at some basic principles that will help you achieve the body of your dreams!

The first step to lasting weightloss is to commit to a diet where you consume 4-6 small meals and snacks daily. Eating smaller meals more frequently (every 3-4 hours) will help keep your metabolism stoked. You want to keep your metabolism active since this is your body’s fat burning mechanism. You can think of your metabolism as a standard fireplace. For the fire to stay aflame you will need to continually feed the fireplace some fresh wood. Not in huge amounts but just enough to keep the flame lit and burning efficiently. Your body also needs continual fuel throughout the day to maintain high energy levels.

By eating smaller, more frequent meals you will help keep the fat burning mechanisms alive and working in your favor. It’s as simple as that! Eating three large meals a day will only have a negative effect on your body. First of all, your body cannot process a large meal properly. After a large meal you will most likely feel fatigued.

The next step is to maintain a low-fat, low calorie diet. You will also want to eat your food slower. This will help you digest food more quicker and efficiently. A healthy diet includes lean meats such as chicken, beef, turkey, etc. Be sure to add plenty of fresh vegetables. A great meal-plan is chicken with vegetable mix(available readily in your grocery freezer section). Using Pam instead of oil is a great option to cut down on calories.

The next step is to perform cardio training 3-5 times a week for 20-30 minutes each session. You can add weight training every other day also to help maintain lean muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat so maintaining lean muscle mass will help you stay fit and slim.

This simple outline for weightloss works for most men and can work for you also! Consistency is key and maintaining this healthy “lifestyle” can be both fun and rewarding if you do it right.
